Held at The ICC Birmingham on the 8th & 9th December 2015, this two day event is the UK’s key event for JD Edwards users within the Oracle community. A day full of education, networking, and establishing yourself professionally within the JD Edwards community. This event will feature a variety of presentations, as well as shorter ‘Knowledge Bite’ sessions, that give delegates the opportunity to learn and discuss on a more intimate and detailed level. The exhibition hall gives business the chance to showcase themselves to other partners, business and end users, with the introduction of data scanning enabling delegates to scan a business’s badge, and gain all their contact information, making the ability to network that little bit easier.
Call for papers is currently open for this event, with a deadline ever approaching of midnight on 10th May. There are no set topics for this year’s event, giving speakers more of a chance of making it onto the agenda. Abstracts need to be under 2000 characters, and you can submit for either a knowledge bite, or a presentation session. There are plenty of reasons to present at this event: not only does it allow you to bench mark yourself against other JD Edwards experts, your able to educate and benefit the Oracle community by sharing your experiences. There are plenty of hints and tips, and suggested topics to submit a paper on, on the conference website: http://jde15.ukoug.org/default.asp?p=13528
