Oracle recently launched the Customer 2 Cloud program, which dramatically simplifies migration to best-in-class cloud applications with flexible financial models, rapid startup services, and packaged cloud integrations.
“Despite the clear and significant business benefits of cloud computing, many organizations still face serious financial and technical barriers that hold them back from adopting next-generation cloud applications,” says Rod Johnson, group vice president, Oracle Applications and Industries Solutions. “Oracle’s Customer 2 Cloud program effectively removes these barriers,” says Johnson.
The program is open to Oracle Customer Relationship Management and Oracle Human Capital Management customers running Oracle’s Siebel, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft, and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions on-premises.
Rather than sacrificing previous investments, the program gives customers the flexibility to strategically redirect existing Oracle Applications investments toward higher-value Oracle Cloud solutions.
Fast Implementation, Packaged Cloud Integrations
To help overcome integration hurdles, the Customer 2 Cloud program includes Oracle’s Cloud Express rapid startup services. These include best-practice processes and a robust library of tools, process flows, templates, and common configurations. The result: rapid startups that take weeks rather than months.
In addition, customers do not need to make wholesale replacements of all applications, thanks to packaged integrations between the most popular on-premises and cloud applications. For example, it is possible to complement an existing core human resources system with Oracle Talent Management Cloud or other cloud self-service capabilities.
