The 2013 Annual Dustin’s GreenHouse “Hope Grows Here” Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Oak Hollow Golf Course in High Point, NC. The tournament will kick off at noon in a Captain’s Choice format. The tournament is scheduled to conclude at six o’clock pm and there will be an after tournament party hosted by “The Deck at River Twist” beginning at eight o’clock pm.
This annual charity event hosts approximately 130 people and all proceeds will go toward service learning projects and international explorations of the students participating in Dustin’s GreenHouse. Dustin’s GreenHouse cultivates hope and opportunity in the lives of under-served and under-recognized high school students in Guilford County, North Carolina through unique global and service based learning programs and initiatives.
Similar to how a gardener nurtures flowers in a traditional greenhouse, Dustin’s GreenHouse nurtures possibility in the lives of students – striving to equip them with the values, sense of purpose, perspective and support they need to grow into compassionate, well-rounded and productive citizens. By focusing on high school students, and particularly those who are under-served and under-recognized, Dustin’s GreenHouse is able to bring new possibility to life. We work to empower and inspire students to take control over their academic, social and professional futures.
Dustin’s GreenHouse is 100% volunteer run and all donations will be tax deductible. Dustin’s GreenHouse is a 501-C(3) organization.
