Oracle is simplifying the licensing of the underlying technology required to run JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Oracle will no longer offer JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technology Foundation (aka “blue stack) to new customers. To minimize business impact, existing customers can continue to expand their Technology Foundation licenses with Oracle through December 31, 2013. After this date, customers may acquire additional licenses of IBM products from IBM. Customers who remain current on technical support fees will continue to receive technical support on Technology Foundation from Oracle through September 30, 2016. After this date, customers may contact IBM for options on IBM Software Subscription and Support.
Oracle continues to offer Oracle Technology Foundation for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (aka, “Red Stack”) and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Core Tools and Infrastructure. For more information see the Frequently Asked Questions document. (Oracle Support Credentials Required to access this document)
