You may have heard that Oracle has waived the fees for the first year of Extended Support for EnterpriseOne 8.11.
The Key Dates are:
EnterpriseOne 8.11
General Availability: December 2004
End of Premier Support: December 2009
End of Tax, Regulatory and Legislative Support: December 2010
The extension DOES NOT change the date for Tax, Regulatory and Legislative Support, it only provides for patches and fixes for an additional year through December 2010.
Many customers use the End of Tax, Regulatory and Legislative Support date as the true end of support date since their installed system has probably stabilized to the point that few new fixes are required. If you are using the End of Tax, Regulatory and Legislative Support date as your planning date for upgrade purposes, please make sure you understand that this announcement does not bring you additional time.
