This feature is implemented to help customers manage unexpected transaction failures. When transaction failures happen, if JAS is still up, JAS will detect the transaction failure and save the transaction data in the database. Email notification is supported for system administrators and end users. Upon receiving the notification or re-login, users can review the saved data and resubmit the transaction.
This enhancement gives users opportunity to recover transaction data when a transaction is submitted before: kernel crashes; unresponsive enterprise server; and network issues between JAS and the enterprise server.
The call stack that leads to the failure is saved in the F95400 table as XML documents. For transaction forms, all visible controls and grid cells are saved. For browse forms, no data is saved.
Users can setup email notifications for transactional failures and they will receive an email with a short cut to the P95400 application.
